However, this demand increases on athletes, as their physical activity demands more strenght to perform as they want. Nuts

These fruits are a great source of healthy fats, protein and vitamins, plus they are great snacks. Just remember that there are certain nuts you should avoid, like macadamia and pecans, as they contain high quantities of fats that can lead to obesity - if consumed in large quantities. Instead, you should stick to almonds, pistachio and cashew. 

Eggs

Nutritionally speaking, eggs are a very complete food, as they are rich in high-quality protein, omega 3 fatty acids, iron calcium and many other vitamins. These are good reasons to consider it one of the world’s healthiest foods. So forget about the myth that eggs cause heart disease.

Green Leafy Vegetables

Vegetables are filled with fiber and vitamins, and consuming them frequently will have a positive effect on your health, such as lowering cholesterol, enhancing bone strength and preventing heart disease. Keep in mind that kale, spinach, collards and broccoli are among the most nutritious vegetables and you should eat them raw.
